About Us

My family used to be in the tea business, so I’ve always had access to really great tea. After marriage, Anjum quickly upscaled her daily Indian Chai with my Assam tea. We settled into this privilege and took our deeply satisfying cups of tea for granted.

But along came Covid, and like much else at that time, the supply stopped and I couldn’t match the quality anywhere closer to home…

Degrees of love

"Superior tasting tea. I decided on the English Breakfast variety and was not disappointed. Lovely delicate flavour but strong and robust at the same time. The pyramid-shaped bags – thank you for the opportunity."

“Aroma is amazing as soon as the envelope is opened. Strong aroma of mint indicating its fresh & inviting. Love the packaging is recyclable & good description on packaging. Was impressed by the quality overall”

"This is an outstanding English Breakfast tea - and I drink a lot of EB tea. I suspect the flavour comes from not only the quality of the tea leaves but also the 'premium bag' which seems to allow more flavour than the mass-produced bags. "

"The quality of the tea bags is excellent. The tea leaves are very high quality I was able to get three uses out of one tea bag. The taste is also very good. I will try the other types next."

"I’d say this is a luxury brand of tea. The tea bags are pyramid and not your basic bags! Feels fancy when putting into your mug! The flavour is tasty, strong, and not at all weak."

"I found this product to be superior to its competitors in all aspects - from the teabag itself (fine, mesh-like, reminiscent of a jewellery bag), to the appearance of the tea and of course, also the taste. I cannot wait to try another variety."

"It is the most flavourful and refreshing green tea I have had for a very long time. It has the extra flavour that quality loose tea leaves often have. I am really enjoying it, and to have it in a pyramid bag is so convenient. Thank you for introducing me to this product."

"I thought the packaging and the quality of the product was excellent. I would include this product when I make a gift hamper for a friend with a lovely mug and quality biscuits."

"I am a coffee drinker and wanting to decrease how much I drink, but don’t like tea (mostly the smell). However, the 96° mint tea was amazing. I have cut my coffee down by half in a week. It is a delicious tea, without the tea taste/smell. It’s a permanent fixture on my shopping list."

"Bought the Chinese Green tea, it has amazing, deep earthy flavours and very nice green tea aromas. Love it!"
